Benchmark Email Lite 2.0
If you want your blog to reach every reader, you have to use email. The Benchmark Email Lite plugin lets you build an email list right from the pages of your WordPress site, and send your subscribers email versions of your blog posts in a flash.
Using a simple W3C and Wave-validated signup form, subscribers can sign up for your blog posts using just their first name, last name and email address. If someone signs up and they’re already a subscriber, the widget will automatically update the person’s first and last name in your email list.
You want a signup form that looks like your blog, right? The Benchmark Email Lite widget uses standard HTML list items so you can code your CSS to make the widget match your blog’s design. Some themes will automatically match your signup form to the style of your blog, but if you’re having trouble accomplishing this, contact us free of charge, or ask your theme designer for help.
Place the widget in any compatible area of your theme, and use administrative controls to enter an optional title, email list name and your Benchmark Email API key. Controls within the page / post editor interface let you email a simple version of your blog posts (including images and video) on a schedule, or the moment you finish them. It’s your choice.
You can post the widget on one page of your blog, or every page, and use a third-party plugin to manage this (see the FAQ tab for options). You can also set up multiple lists and APIs on the back-end of the widget.
To get started, sign up for a Benchmark Email 30-day free trial here. With a free trial, you can use the widget free of charge for as long as you’d like.
